Claude William Jones, Son of George Walter Jones and of Kate Clinch Jones (nee Edwards). Claude was served with the RAF in WWII and lost his life when his plane, Lancaster ED701 103 Squadron crashed near Kasteel van Asten, Heusden, Noord-Brabant Holland... Shot down by night fighter pilot Oberleutnant Heinz Strüning of the 3./NJG 1, flying a Bf 110 G-4 or He 219 A-0 from Venlo airfield.
