Kenneth was serving with the RAF in WWII and lost his life when his plane, Lancaster ED701 from 103 Squadron crashed near Kasteel van Asten, Heusden, Noord-Brabant Holland.... Shot down by night fighter pilot Oberleutnant Heinz Strüning of the 3./NJG 1, flying a Bf 110 G-4 or He 219 A-0 from Venlo airfield.
