He was a member of the United Steel Workers, a member of NBA, and a lifetime member of the Eagles.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Mary Etta (Perry) Comer.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 28, 2006 from 6:00 to
9:00pm at Spry Funeral Home in Athens, AL. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at 11:00 in the Spry Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Rogersville
Cemetery with full military honors.
Survivors are: son Jeff Comer and Wife, Melissa of Anderson IN; two daughters, Tina Wilson and husband Daniel of Elwood, IN and Tonya Deal of Fort Wayne,IN; six grandchildren, Jeffery, Brittney, Ashley and Levi Comer.
Krystal Wilson and Daniel Wilson II; two sisters, Melva Thomas and husband Jimmy of Lawrenceburg and Keffie Morrow and husband Larry of Columbia, TN and two brothers, Richard Comer and wife Jennie of Lawrenceburg and Robert Comer of Colorado; nieces and nephews.
