SIMPSON, Jimmy Lee of San Francisco, died June 9, 1986 at age 66. Husband of Eunice Durden Simpson; loving father of Mattie Shirley Baker, Melvin Leon Simpson, O. J. Simpson and Carmelita Simpson Jackson; devoted son of Pearlie Mae Wimberly and step-father, Lindsey Wimberly; beloved by 2 sisters and 7 brothers and adored by 15 grandchildren. Loving nephew of L. D. Potter. Born in Wilma, Arkansas in 1920, Mr. Simpson was a resident of San Francisco the past 40 years; an employee of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco for the past 35 years and retired in 1985. Mr. Simpson was a devoted member of the Tabernacle of Faith Church since moving to the Bay Area. Mr. Simpson passed away surrounded by his loving family. A Memorial service will be held Sunday, June 15, 7:30 pm at Tabernacle of Faith Church. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 18, 11 am at Providence Baptist Church with interment immediately following the funeral in Golden Gate National Cemetery.
