Bio
A native of Maryland, I've been interested in genealogy for years. My ancestry stretched from Transylvania and Italy to England, Ireland, Massachusetts, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Maryland to name a few. My research on my family continues this year but I also write about revolutionary Maryland soldiers after working as a research fellow for the Maryland State Archives for six months in 2016.
I currently run two blogs, one for all those with the Packard surname and the other for all those with the Mills surname in my family lineage. If you are interested in submitting to the one relating to the Packard surname, 'Packed with Packards,' please let me know. The same goes for the one with the Mills surname, called 'Milling 'round Ireland.' Submission guidelines for both are listed below:
- Packed with Packards: https://packedwithpackards.wordpress.com/submission-guidelines/
- Milling 'round Ireland: https://millingroundireland.wordpress.com/submission-guidelines/
I have researched many surnames in my journey down family history road, including the following:
- Packard (Ohio, Massachusetts, Missouri, England)
- Mills (New York, Ohio, Ireland)
- Schaefer (Germany, New Jersey)
- Hermann (Transylvania, Germany?, Pennsylvania, Arizona)
