Mr. Lindquist, a resident of the Newfolden community since 1912, died Sunday, April 17, at the Good Samaritan home in Warren at the age of 88 years.
He was born Nov. 21, 1871, in Edenberga, Sweden, where he was baptized and confirmed and grew to manhood. He was united in marriage to Hilda Wallin in Sweden April 9, 1901, and in 1912 they came to this country and settled on a farm in Marshall county. After his retirement in 1936, they moved from the farm to Newfolden, where they have since made their home. He was admitted to the Good Samaritan home in January, where he resided until his death.
Surviving are his wife, Hilda; two sons, Gunnar Lindquist of Newfolden, and Helge Lindquist of Warren; also one brother, seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
