Mrs. Todd, 84, longtime teacher
Mrs. Annie Bradford Todd, school teacher here for many years, died yesterday at her home at 1008 Green Spriugs-av.
Mrs. Todd formerly taught at Henley School until 1944 and was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, teacher's honorary society.
She was also a member of the First Baptist Church and of the Fidelis and Clionian literary societies.
Mrs. Todd, 84. was a resident of Birmingham most of her life. Her husband was Harry R. Todd.
On learning of her death, Dr. L. Frazer Banks, Birmingham Superintendent of Schools, said, "She was an outstanding teacher . . . We who are in school work are distressed over her death."
Surviving are a nephew, S. Jones Price Jr. and several cousins.
SERVICES will be held at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow at Johns-Ridout's Funeral Home. Dr. T. Sloane Guy Jr. and Dr. Mabry Lunceford will officiate.
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will he Joe Travis, Goode Henslett, Hofford Todd, William A. Brown Jr., Tom Bradford, Phil Bradford and John Bradford. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Dyer Carlisle, Dr. Estes Hargis, Sam Gray Reid, Edward T. Rice, Harry B. Huff and Dr. L. Frazer Banks, employes of the Todd-Witte Dry Goods Company and members of the Birmingham Board of Education.
