Leonard Borsvold, 77, Standquist, died Monday, Oct. 14, 1991 in Northwest Medical Center, Thief River Falls.

Leonard Borsvold was born March 27, 1914, in West Valley Township Marshall County, Minn., the son of Hans and Augusta Borsvold. He grew up and attended school in New Maine Township; Marshall County. He served in the U.S. Army, during World War II. He worked for Marshall County mowing roadsides for many years.

Survivors are his brother, Clarence, Standquist; sister, Hattie Wilkstrom, Holt, Minn.; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, LaVonne Johnson and Julie and Brion Nelson.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Ernest, George, Theodore, Edwin and Henry.

Services: 2 p.m. Saturday in Bethesda Lutheran Church, Standquist.
Visitation: 1 to 9 p.m. today in Green Funeral Home, Thief River Falls, and one hour before services in the church. Grand Forks Herald (ND), October 18, 1991
