who died on the 8th July, 1819
in the 29th year of her age.
She was the pride and ornament of her husband,
the comfort and joy of her children, and the
particular favorite of all her friends. The tenderness of a wife & mother caused her to wish to live; but patient under suffering and trusting in her redeemer, she calmly resigned her spirit into the hands of him who gave it.
And Oh, may that Almighty Power which has dealt this heavy blow upon us, in great mercy, take her husband and family under its protection. May it guide, guard, and protect them in all the varied scenes of this world. May it lead them up the paths which point to brighter hopes, and give them to enjoy her sacred fellowship in those regions which are closed forever to the access of pain and death.
