Actor, Singer. A handsome leading man during the first half of his career, he made a name for himself playing the main character 'Jim Bronson' in the TV series "Then Came Bronson" (1969 to 1970). He would go on to settle in character roles and remain an in-demand actor until his death. Born Harry Samuel Parks in California, his father was an athlete (baseball player), he entered the industry during the early 1960s and would appear in a wide range of TV programs of which included "The Untouchables", "Alfred Hitchcock Presents" and "The Real McCoys", among many others. This led to his film career beginning with the feature "Bus Riley's Back in Town" (1965), in which he co-starred with Ann-Margret. He went on to co-star in the films "Wild Seed" (1965), "The Idol" (1966), "The Happening" (1967) and "Between Friends" (1973). In later years, he became a recurring choice for directors Quentin Tarantino "Kill Bill: Volume One" (2003), "Death Proof" (2007), Robert Rodriguez "Grindhouse" (2007) and Kevin Smith "Tusk" (2014). Later TV credits include "The Colbys", "Murder, She Wrote" and "Twin Peaks." In addition to acting, Parks was an accomplished singer and scored a Top 20 hit on the American Billboard Charts with "Long Lonesome Highway" (1970).
