Anna was a daughter of John Cox, Sr. and Margaret Ritter. She was probably introduced to her husband William Moyer by her brother Salathiel Cox. Both men were bricklayers. In 1872 she sadly died of consumption a few months after the death of their only boy Willy, aged 4 years and 6 months from scarlet fever. The couple also had two girls Margaret and Clara that lived to adulthood. After her death, her husband William Moyer remarried to her half-sister Angeline.

Monument Cemetery, Broad & Berks St., Philadelphia.
(removed in 1956 to Lawnview Cemetery, Rockledge, PA).
