Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, May 19, 2003 at Johnson-Green Funeral Home in Thief River Falls, MN with Reverend Sandra Hollands officiating. Burial will be Moose River Cemetery, Gatzke, MN.
Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Monday at the Johnson-Green Funeral Home in Thief River Falls, MN.
Ingeborg Ostby was born on April 5, 1914 in Gatzke, MN, the daughter of Pedar and Berit (Sakrismo) Ostby. She was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran Faith and attended school in Gatzke, MN and Middle River, MN.
Ingeborg was united in marriage to John Loven in Gatzke. The couple lived on their farm near Gatzke and they also owned and operated Gatzke Grocery for several years.
She enjoyed sewing and cooking. Ingeborg was a member of the United Lutheran Church in Gatzke and was active in the Woman's Group at church.
Ingeborg is survived by one son, Duane (Arleen) Loven of Grand Forks, ND; two grandchildren: Tim (Amy) Loven of Bismarck, ND and Kim (Grant) Loven Gregory of Greenwich, CT; five great grandchildren; and four sisters.
She was preceded in death by one son, Roger Loven; her husband, John; her parents; and one brother.
