Funeral services for Mrs. Rose Laughery will be conducted Friday, January 31 at the St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Grygla with Rev. Arthur Dale officiating. Interment will be made in teh church cemetery. Mrs. Laughery passed away Jauary 27 at Northwestern Hospital at the age of 83 years.
Mrs. Laughery was born April 1, 1874 in Sioux City, Iowa, where she attended school and grew to womanhood. In 1896 she was united in marriage to Thomas Laughery and they moved to South Dakota where they made their home for several years. In 1912 they moved to Beltrami County where they homesteaded and later made her home with her son Charles in Grygla. The pas few years she made her home at the Bottem Rest Home in this city.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Frank Hoffman of Albany, Oregon and Mrs. Rose O'Brien of Grygla and one son Charles of Grygla; 11 grand children, nine great grand children. She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
