GERSHKOFF, FREDERICK JAMES
61, died unexpectedly on Saturday, April 22, 2017. Fred was a beloved son of the late Matthew A. and Mary P. (Girard) Gershkoff and has resided in Cranston most of his life. He attended Cranston High School East and Community College of Rhode Island, served in the U.S. Coastguard during the Vietnam War and was affiliated with the family auto body business for many years. He was simply, a very good man.
He is survived by his sister Jane Gershkoff Berman (Ronald), and brothers, Steven (Linda), John (Marla) and Matthew. He leaves his companion Patty Lamoureux and her children, Hillary, Haley and George.
He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and grandnieces/nephews who will miss him dearly.
His funeral will be held on Friday at 8:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m.in Holy Apostles Church, Cranston. Burial with military honors will be held in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. VISITING HOURS: Thursday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Fred's memory can be made to the charity of your choice . Visit NardolilloFH.com for online condolences.

His parents and two uncle's on his paternal side are buried in the same cemetery.
