Mrs. Lacombe worked as a stenographer and bookkeeper at the Woodruff Hotel in Watertown, N.Y.
She married Joseph Howard "Joe" Lacombe on June 26, 1948.
Mrs. Lacombe was a member of St. Alphonsus Church.
Known for her unique, personalized, birthday cake creations, she also loved to cook Italian meals for her family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and will be greatly missed by all.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph Howard "Joe" Lacombe of Rutland; three daughters, Diane Marie Brown and her companion, Edward O. Allen, of West Rutland, Susan Ann Mahren of Charlotte and Katherine Ann Markiewicz and husband, Kevin, of Phoenix, Ariz.; one son, David John Lacombe and his wife, Linda Smart Lacombe, of Pittsford; a sister, Ruby Hirschey of Phoenix, Ariz.; eight grandchildren, Sarah, Corey, Shannon, Brie, Trevor, Dylan, Tanya and Taylor; four great-grandchildren, Caden, Caleb, Devin and Juliane; and several nieces and nephews.
The memorial service will be held at a later date when the family can all gather.
