I have been doing family genealogical research for 30+ years. I love to visit old cemeteries and finding ancestral gravestones. I hope the memorials I create and pictures I upload will help others do the same.

Tansfers: If I've created a memorial for your family member or for someone that is near and dear to your heart, I'm happy to transfer to you as long as they are not my relative. Just ask :-)

A poem to consider:

Ancestors
by Anonymous

If you could see your ancestors
All standing in a row,
Would you be proud of them or not
Or don't you really know?

Some strange discoveries are made
In climbing family trees,
And some of them you know, do not
Particularly please.

If you could see your ancestors
All standing in a row,
There might be some of them, perhaps
You wouldn't care to know.

But here's another question
Which requires a different view,
When you should meet your ancestors
Will they be proud of you?

SORRY, I DO NOT LINK TO RELATIVES THAT DO NOT HAVE A BURIAL LOCATION. This is Find-a-GRAVE after all. There are some exceptions of course, for example scattered ashes or bodies donated to science, but even then there could be a headstone or cenotaph somewhere. Please stop making memorials on this website if you don't know the final resting place for an individual. And certainly, don't just plop deceased persons in a cemetery you THINK they are probably buried in!
