Services were held at Warrens Grove United Methodist Church and conducted by the Rev. Phillip Chryst on March 1st at 7:00pm. The family would like to thank Warrens's Grove Methodist Church, Rev. Phillip Chryst, Captain Tony Kirby and Chaplain Keith Kimball of RPD for your love and support. A special thank you to Captain Kirby for your testimonial about Cindy. Also, thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone for your support, love and encouragement.

Cindy would call every other morning and one thing she used to say to me when she was ready to hang up was "Pray for me Momma." Pray for me, I love you, and those words keep repeating themselves over and over in my mind. Cindy, I prayed for you. Over and over I put you in Gods hands but kept taking you back. I love you. I have since the day you were conceived. I will miss you and love you always. It's comforting to know that you are no longer in pain and you are whole again strong and healthy. Fly with those angels that you loved so much. You now get to meet that guardian angel who was always so close and who was forever by your side keeping you from harm so many times for she is the one that took you by the hand and flew away with you.

Cindy's favorite color was pink. She loved wicker furniture and dolls the oldies antiques and plants Her green thumb amazed me at times...She loved animals specially cat's...At the time of her death she had 3 fur children. Smokey Button and Winnie...All of them now have loving homes where they are well taken care of...
She was for the underdog the misunderstood and the outcasts
of society. Always helping any way she could from feeding them or giving them a place to lay their heads at night..She enjoyed going to different churches and reading her bible. She loved jeans T shirts Reebok's Angels and most of all she loved Jesus..She was out going and spoke to everybody. She had a good sense of humor and liked to make people laugh she was by no means perfect and had her own demons to deal with but she was Cindy..My Cindy and she is missed by those who knew and loved her..A little over 100 friends and family attended her memorial service and she had many stand up and give testimonial's about her..Those testimonies were a great comfort to us..

Who can say for certain, maybe you're still here, I feel you all around me, your memories so clear. Deep in the stillness, I can hear you speak, you're still an inspiration, can it be......That you are mine, forever loved, and you are watching over me from up above.

Fly me up to where you are, beyond the distant star, I wish upon tonight to see you smile, if only for a while to know you're there, A breath away's not far to where you are.

Are you gently sleeping, here inside my dreams, and isn't faith believing, all power can't be seen. As my heart holds you, just one beat away, I cherish all you gave me everyday.
'Cause you are mine, forever loved, watching me from up above. And I believe that angels breathe, and that love will live on and never leave.

Fly me up to where you are, beyond the distant star, I wish upon tonight to see you smile, If only for a while to know you're there, A breath away's not far to where you......
I know you're there, A breath away's not far to where you are.

I miss you. My mind knows you are in a better place where there is no pain and you are at peace.
I understand that. I just wish I could explain it to my heart. There is an empty space in it that nothing will ever fill.
I grieve but I know my tears are for me.
We will be together again, until then, my love will always be with you..Missing you so,Moma

God looked around his garden
And found an empty place,
He then looked down upon the earth
And saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you
And lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering
He knew you were in pain.
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough
And the hills were hard to climb.
So he closed your weary eyelids
And whispered, 'Peace be Thine'.
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn't go alone,
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.

I hope to reach this point one day Cindy.

Longing For One More Day
"When we lose someone we love it seems that time stands still. What moves through us is a silence... a quiet sadness... A longing for one more day... one more word... one more touch... We may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget. We will see you again some day, in a heavenly place where there is no parting. A place where there are no words that mean good-bye." ~ Irish funeral prayer

Fly With Angels....
Where are you going, inside your mind
I guess were always livin'
on borrowed time
Yes I will be here, to hold your hand
just close your eyes and sleep
I understand
You're flying with angels
above us all and I'll be here
to catch you if you fall
If others leave you, you know I'll stay
My dreams will whisper to you
and guide you way
so sleep my darlin' (sleep my darlin')
one kiss goodnight (one kiss goodnight)
another song awaits you
with rising eyes
Oh I'll be here to catch if you fall.

The wounds remain. In time the mind protecting it's sanity covers them with scar tissue
and the pain lessons But it's never gone"..

~*~An angel at my shoulder heard the whisper of goodbye offering eternity as life slipped silently by ~ So peacefully it seemed in sleep you yielded to the love that reached across my shoulder to lift you high above ~ But still you are beside me and with certainty I know the hands I can no longer hold will guide me as I go ~ For in that fleeting moment at the touch of Heaven's embrace as one angel brushed my shoulder another took it's place~*~

Ramblings

Cindy was born on a cold Thursday morning at 9am. She weighed 6 pounds 9 ozs. I have yet to see a baby that had legs as long as she had when she was born no wonder she kicked so much in the womb..Her legs were 23 inches and I have always found it amusing that when she grew up she was only 5'2 1/2 inches..I thought for sure that she would be the tallest..She was a happy baby and she woke up every morning smiling and she ate like a horse I don't remember her not liking anything when it came to food when she was a baby..

She loved people so her choice of employment was waitress jobs and she honestly enjoyed being one when she was able to work..She was so hyper and that job allowed her to keep moving..She was crazy over animals and it always made her cry to see one laying along side the road..She would just cry and cry..One of her younger sister's is the same way..Despite her issues she was just a good person.

I miss her.. :(
