Harold Distin of Syracuse and formerly of volney passed away unexpectedly Wednesday evening, of last week in his doctor's office. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ethel Rear Distin; three daughters, Laura Distin of Syracuse, Mrs. Roy Peebles of Van Tour. California, and Mrs. Raymond Tomeny of Syracuse; two sons, Robert of Baldwinsville and Richard of Syracuse; four sisters,Mrs. Allen Osborne, Mrs. Elsie Simons and Mrs. Otto Lewis of Fulton and Mrs. Edna Pettit of Syracuse; a brother, Byron. Funeral services were last Saturday at Mt.Pleasant Church.
