Jackson, Eric Monroe "Moe", age 68 of Havre de Grace peacefully on November 28, 2008. Loving husband of Judith Ann "Judy" Jackson for over 46 years. Beloved son of Dorothy Jackson of Aberdeen and the late Harry Jackson. Proud father of Mark Jackson and wife Tammy of Havre de Grace, Leslie Palmer and husband Troy of Dublin, and David Jackson and wife Selena of Havre de Grace. Cherished grandfather of Ashley Morris, Kaitlyn Jackson, Jordan Palmer, Jacob Palmer, Cheyenne Jackson and Nathan Morris (great-grandson). Also survived by sisters Reveille Poirier and Bertha Haswell.
Eric served his country in the Army from 1960 to 1966. Following the Army he was a letter carrier for the Havre de Grace Post Office for 27 years. While a mail carrier he distributed toys at Christmas time to children. "Moe" was an avid collector of stamps, coins, and baseball memorabilia and cards.
Friends may call at the family owned TARRING-CARGO FUNERAL HOME, P.A. in Aberdeen on Friday, December 5 from 4-8p.m. A funeral mass officiated by Fr. William J. O'Brien will be celebrated Saturday December 6 at 10a.m. in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Havre de Grace. Presentation of military honors and entombment to follow in Harford Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Eric's memory may be made to The American Cancer Society,
