He was born September 24, 1959, in Hot Springs, the son of Neal Burton and Anna Shirley Burton. He was preceded in death by one brother, Rickey Neal Burton.
Philip was a very loving grandfather who was known as Paps! Though Philip's life was short with periods of pain, our good memories are many and will always remain.
He is survived by his mother and father; one brother, Dorie Burton (Becky) of Pearcy; two sisters, Rhonda Jackson (Jim) of Point Cedar and Phyllis Nunn (Steve) of Arkadelphia; two daughters, Amber Butler of Friendship and Heather Nichols of Pine Bluff; two granddaughters, Bella Chapman and Emma Chapman.
Funeral services will be 7:00 PM, Friday, November 9, 2012 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation will be 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Friday evening.
Honorary pallbearers will be his coworkers at Kroger and his close friends in AA.
