Earl Hensley
Lakeport – Services will be in Oakland at 2 p.m. Thursday for Earl Chester Hensley, 77, Lakeport, who died yesterday in a Lake County hospital.
Hensley was born in Indiana and lived in Lake County for the last 13 years. He was a member of the Baptist Church, a life member of Scottish Rite 32nd degree, San Diego; a life member of Masonic Lodge 244 in Oakland; and a life member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen. He was a Navy veteran of World War I and was employed by the Southern Pacific in Oakland for 55 years.
He is survived by his wife, Bertha C. Hensley, Lakeport; a daughter, Dorothy J. Knox, Alameda; his sister, Dorothy Macdonald of Boulder Creek; two grandsons and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at the Chapel of the Chimes, Oakland, with Alcatraz Masonic Lodge 244 officiating. Interment will follow with burial at sea.
