Alice was born and raised in Alburtis Pennsylvania.
Alice age 17 was courting Oscar William (O.W.) Edmond's age 20.
O.W. was born and raised in Montgomery County, Ohio. He moved to Alburtis Pa. O.W. decided to adopt the medical profession so he was doing preparatory reading of medical books in Alice's brother- in- law's medical office Dr. E.M.S. Beavers MD, for 4 years who was also mentoring O.W. before going to medical school in Columbus Ohio.
Dr.O.W. graduated medical school in 1886 and relocated back to Alburtis. He and Alice married in 1888.
He and Alice stayed in Alburtis for six months after their marriage, then moved to Frankfort Indiana, where her husband started a medical practice. Her husband was also the Mayor of Frankfort Indiana from 1909-1918, So Alice was a very busy wife with lots of homemaking and social duties.
Alice and O.W. never were blessed with children.
After O.W. died from pulmonary Tuberculosis at age 56 in 1918,
Alice returned to Pennsylvania to be near her family. She never remarried and died from Stomach Carcinoma at age 77 years in 1942.
