Funeral services for Emelita "Amy" Nofire, 42, of Nicut will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at Belfonte Indian Baptist Church in Belfonte with Tom Cochran officiating. Burial will be at Belfonte Cemetery under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. Nofire was born on Dec. 18, 1970, in Tahlequah to Mose Nofire and Mary Mae (Bird) Nofire. She died on Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, in Fort Smith, Ark. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Mike Williams of the home; one son, Tristan; her parents, of the home; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Rebecca and Josh Qualls of the home and Sylvia and Charles Holmes of Long; one brother, Scotty Nofire of Sallisaw; adopted daughter, Tiffany Prewett of Roland; and several other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one brother, Mose Nofire Jr. Pallbearers will be Daniel Nofire, Dewayne Dry, Curtis Coleman Charles Sevenstar, Jim Woodard and Donnie Garner.
