Troyer, Jonathan D., son of David and Katie (Summers) Troyer, was born Dec. 23, 1875, at Walnut Creek, Ohio; died of complications July 15, 1959, at Walnut Creek; aged 83 y. 6 m. 22 d. He was married in February, 1902, to Nora Troyer, who died June 29, 1953. Occupation: retried mail carrier.

Surviving are 3 daughters (Orpha, at home; Mildred-Mrs. Elmer Lehman, Kidron, Ohio; and Edith-Mrs. Lee Troyer, Walnut Creek), one son (Henry, Millersburg), 3 grandsons, 3 brothers (Levi, Orville; Clarence, Baltic; and Earl, Walnut Creek), and 2 sisters (Mrs. Harvey Mullet, Sugarcreek; and Carrie, Wooster).

He was a member of the Walnut Creek Church, where funeral services on July 18 were in charge of Paul R. Miller and Venus Hershberger.
