Wayne Fox, 71, died Sunday, August 15, 2004, at Heartland Healthcare Center in Macomb, Ill. He was born on July 28, 1933, in Keokuk, Ia., a son of Chester and Martha Elsie Reischling Fox. He married Madeliene Fitch on December 24, 1953, in Carthage. Mr. Fox lived his early life in St. Patrick, Mo., he moved to Carthage for several years, before moving to McDonough County in 1956. He worked as a truck driver for all of his life, and was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the St. Paul's Catholic Church in Macomb. Survivors include his wife, three daughters, Debby Barker and husband Gary, Brainard, Minn., Karen Moore and husband Lee, Tennessee, Ill., and Connie Kreps and husband Dan, Colchester, Ill.; one son, Roger Fox and wife, Pam, Rushville, Ill.; six grandchildren, Eric and Adam Starbuck, Josh and April Moore, Shanna Kreps and Monte Fox; and two great granddaughters, Emilee Eldridge and Hannah Starbuck. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation was Wednesday, August 18, 2004, at the Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb, Ill. A Christian Wake Service was held at the funeral home prior to visitation. Funeral services were August 19, 2004 at the St. Paul's Catholic Church with Monsignor Richard Pricco officiating. Burial was in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Macomb, Ill. Memorials may be made to St. Pauls Catholic Church in Macomb or to the McDonough District Hospital Hospice Program.
