Born in Sugarcreek, she was a daughter of the late Sylvenus J. and Catherine Gerber. She was member of St. John United Church of Christ here, it's Faithful Class and Women's Fellowship, and Cypress Chapter of the order Eastern Star.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Irene Shephfer of Sugarcreek , and several nieces and nephews. A broter is deceased.
Services will be held Saturday at 2 in St. John United Church of Christ with Rev. William Homeister officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Burial Park at New Philadelphia. Friends may call Friday from 7 to 9 in Toland-Herzig Furnal Home at Strasburg and Saturday from noon to until 2 at the church.
