Maude Armbrust, 94, of Rittman died Saturday, February 16, 2013 at the Smithville-Western Care Center.

She was born October 13. 1918 in Walnut Creek to Clarence L. and Lizzie Ann (Sommers) Hochstetler and lived in Rittman most of her life.

She was employed in retail sales at Conley's for several years and was a member of the Radiant Life Church in Wadsworth.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, reading the Bible, and crossword puzzles. Maude was a very positive person who provided support and encouragement to those around her. She was a member of Radiant Life Church in Wadsworth.

She married Ray Armbrust in 1938 and he preceded her in death in 1972. A daughter, Raetta Gasser, died October 5, 2012. She was also preceded by her parents; brothers, Forrest, Floyd, Paul, Howard, Clarence "Dutch" Hochstetler; sisters, Ina Bunting, Opal Lower, Mary Armbrust and an infant daughter.



Services will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Gillman Funeral Home, 360 W. Sunset Dr., Rittman with Pastor Lance Porubsky officiating. Burial will be at Rittman Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before services at the funeral home.
