Son of Louisa Drummond and Benjamin F. Rucker

Thomas was born in Lawrence Co, Ohio and moved with his parents to Nebraska sometime in the 1890s where his mother Louisa and two sisters died. About 1899 Thomas moved with his father Benjamin and younger brother Henry to Benton Co, Arkansas. There his father married Martha J Conner and then his father dies in 1903.

Thomas disappears then resurfaces on the 1940 Delavan Town, Walworth Co, Wisconsin census. Thomas is married to Leota M. Kuhnle and has two children, Mary Jane Rucker age 5 and Robert Rucker age 4. Thomas dies in Wisconsin in 1977 at age 91.

Delavan - Services for Benjamin T. Rucker 91, Rt. 1, Darien, former owner-operator of County Line Café who died Monday at Lakeland Hospital, Elkhorn, are at 10:30 am Saturday at Monroe Funeral Home, Delavan with burial in Roselawn Memory Gardens.

Mr. Rucker was born Oct. 2, at Lawrence Co, Ohio and was and was married to Leota Kuhnle Sept. 24, 1934. She died last May 25.

Mr. Rucker was employed 33 years at Brog Farms, rural Delavan, and at Lake Lawn Lodge before purchasing County Line Café, operated by the family for many years and recently purchased by a daughter.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Margaruite Hogg, Boynton Beach, Fla., Mrs. Mary Jones and Mrs. Roseann Wilson, Janesville and Mrs. Patricia Schuett, Darien; three sons, Robert T., Rhinelander, Ralph E., Elkhorn, and Gerald L, Salisbury, Md.; 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
