MORRIS, William G. "Bill," 85, of Ormond Beach, Director of Purchasing and Receiving at St. John Medical Center, Steubenville, OH, for 27 years before his retirement, died Sunday, March 3, 2013.

Mr. Morris, an Army veteran, earned the World War II Victory Medal and was the Chief of the McClellandtown, PA, Volunteer Fire Company from 1951 until 1962.

He was born in McClellandtown and moved to Ormond Beach in 1991 from Steubenville.

He was a Mason with the Valley Lodge 0459, F& AM in Pennsylvania for 57 years and a proud member of the National Rifle Association. He was also a member of Ormond Beach Presbyterian Church. He was dedicated and dutiful to his family, country and friends and could be counted on to do the right thing in any situation.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 62 years, 3 children,4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren (names deleted for privacy and to maintain Find A Grave guidelines)

Memorial service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, March 7, 2013, at Ormond Beach Presbyterian Church, 105 Amsden Road, Ormond Beach. Cremation will be by Dudley Crematory, New Smyrna Beach.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity of choice.
