Barry Nelson Parrish, 58, of London, Kentucky, formerly of Versailles, died Thursday, March 21, 2013. Born September 12, 1954 in Franklin County, he was the son of the late Charles and Dorothy Jean Brown Parrish. He was the District Manager for Trans-America Life Insurance Company, a Masonic Lodge member and attended Kentucky State, where he received an associate Degree. Survivors include his wife, Karen Hicks Parrish of London, four children, Beth Hensley (Jonathan) of Versailles, Emily Parrish of Nicholasville, Paul Acra of Lexington and Josh Acra (Natasha) of Louisville, his sister, Kitty Sallee (Chuck), two nephews, Phillip Sallee and Blake Sallee, all of Versailles, two grandchildren, Liam Cook and Luke Hensley and his former wife, Judy Deener of Lexington. Funeral services will be 11am Monday, March 25, at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 5-8pm, Sunday, March 24, at the funeral home.
