Billy Gene Judy, 58, of rural Columbus, died at 7 a.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2005, at the St. John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin, Mo.
He was born Oct. 19, 1946 at Cliffy, Ark., to Clyde B. and Brunetta Gilmore Judy.
He married Carolyn Sue Kitch on April 12, 1967 in Columbus. She survives of the home.
He was employed by the Crossland Construction Co., in Columbus as a site supervisor serving when the Columbus Fire Station and Museum were built and many other projects in the four state area.
Additional survivors include one son, Bill Judy Jr., of Columbus; one daughter, Shelby Judy of the home; one sister, Bruna Adamson of rural Columbus; three brothers, Basil Judy of Joplin, Mo., Jerry Judy and Ronnie Judy, both of Columbus; one granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Tammy in 1994.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Park Cemetery with the Rev. Don Flanner officiating.
The family suggests everyone meet at the Simpson Funeral Home and go in procession to the cemetery leaving around 9:50 a.m. Friday.
The family will have a visitation from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Simpson Funeral Home.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Simpson Funeral Home of Columbus.
