John Bertus Nalley, 72, died Sundy, April 29, 1984, in the emergency room at Spring View Hospital in Lebanon.
A esident of 153 Hilltop in Springfield, a native of Washington County, he was a retired farmer and an Army Air Corp Veteran of World War II.
A son of the late James and Mary Jo Dowling Nalley, long deceased, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Curtsinger Nalley.
Survivors include four sisters: Mrs. Annie E. Derringer, Mrs. Mary E. Smith, and Mrs. Melissa Switzer, of Springfield; and Mrs. Mary Kelty, of Bardstown. Also several nieces and nephews survive.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today at St. Dominic Church with Rev. Joseph Hayden officiating. Burial will be on Cemetery Hill in Springfield. A prayer service was held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, at Hale and Polin Funeral Home in Springfield, who was in charge of arranfements.
