Joelene O. Bogun age 62, Ironwood, died Tuesday, March 19, 1991.

She was born Feb. 20, 1929 in Manitowish, daughter of the late Otto and Goldie Layman. She attended the Manitowish School. She enjoyed knitting and playing bingo.

The former Joelene Layman was married to Adam Bogun on Aug. 15, 1973 in Hurley. He survives. Also surviving are three sons, Harland Buckallew of Hurley, Johnny Buckallew of Evanston, Wyo., and Donald Layman of Ironwood; two daughters, Mrs. David (Sally) Bratu of Ironwood and Mrs. Eric (Lee) Silvonen of Newport, Ore., 10 grandchildren; one great grandson; a brother, Otto Layman of Mercer, Wis. and a sister, Mrs. Elmer (Hannah) Turner Woodruff.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Orville, Gustav and Mark Layman and a sister, Gladys Supputo.

Services were held Friday, Mar. 22 at the Engstrom Funeral Home in Hurley, Rev. Norbert Landreville officiating. Internment was in the St. Mary Cemetery in Hurley.
