Chester Edwin Ball Jr, age 60, of Plain City, passed away Friday, April 26, 2013 at home surrounded by family and friends.

Ted was a stranger to no one and will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched. Member of Darby Grace Brethren Church, graduate of Hilliard High School, Class of "1971" and graduate of Columbus State Community College.

Ted was a professional musician and singer, formerly employed with Ohio State, former owner and operator of Sir Speedy Printing, Dancor Inc., and the State of Ohio.

Preceded in death by parents Chester and Betty Ball.

Survived by loving wife of 26 years Doris, children Gene, Troy (Misty), Lisa, Anthony (Karen), sister Beth (John) Watkins, brother Stuart (Sue Nicholls) Ball, grandchildren Ashley, Joey, Maria, Cody, James, Renee, Bobby, Austin, Gage, Kaitlyn, Calie, Andre, and Damien, great-grandchildren Autumn, Elijah and Thalyn, sisters-in-law Dixie (Merlin) Pond, Rosie (Sam) Johnson and Mary (John) Trimble, special friends Mary Jo (Joe) Boldizsar and countless loving relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends Tuesday from 5-7 pm at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard, OH 43026.

A funeral service will be held 11 am Wednesday at Darby Grace Brethren Church 9899 ES Highway 42 South Plain City, OH 43064 with Pastor Rick Bean officiating.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the time of the service.

Interment Sunset Cemetery.
