Died at Presence St. Joseph Hospital, Elgin. Son of Swan and Anna Schmidgall Edlund. He was a veteran of W.W. II, serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps as a pilot. Survived by his 3 daughters; 9 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents; his wife, Norma Lewis Edlund; a daughter, Debbie Knight-Lessing; his son in law, Larry Kossack; and 1 brother, William J. Edlund. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 15 at 11 A.M. at Laird Funeral Home, Elgin. Private burial at Lakewood Memorial Park, Elgin. Arrangements with Laird Family Funeral Services.
