He was born October 11, 1932, in Logan County, West Virginia, the son of Thomas and Emma (Scott-Hager) Cochran.
He married Joann Jung on June 22, 1958, in New Bremen, Ohio, and she preceded him in death on December 7, 2010.
He is survived by his son, Charles (Theresa Crawford) Cochran of New Bremen; by a sister-in-law, Betty Long of Morristown, Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and by two sisters: Louise Cochran and Louann Starkey.
Bill retired from Fisher Cheese Company in Wapakoneta after 35 years of service. He attended Saint Paul's United Church of Christ in Saint Marys. He enjoyed going to garage sales, listening to bluegrass music, fishing, and spending time in the mountains of West Virginia.
Funeral rites will be held 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 28, 2013, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, Pastor Judy Ball officiating. Burial rites will be held at 10:30 A.M. Thursday at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
