Warren C. "Huck" Camper, 82, of Richmond, died January 27, 2003 after an extended illness. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Margaret Ruth "Tom" Camper. He is survived by his daughter, Barbara "B.J." and son-in-law, Lewis H. Longest Jr.; his son, Allen "Cherokee" and daughter-in-law, Bobbie Jo Camper; a sister, Irma Camper of Roanoke, Va.; a granddaughter, Bonnie "Charlie" Weis and her husband, Bobby. He was a decorated WWII Army veteran, and he retired from C&O Railroad after 31 years of service. His remains rest at the Bliley Funeral Home's Staples Mill Chapel, 8510 Staples Mill Road, where the family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, and where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday. Rev. Eugene B. Wright officiating. Interment Greenwood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lakeside Volunteer Rescue Squad, 2007 Timberlake Ave., Richmond, Va. 23228.
