CANADAY-Julius Hampton Canaday, 67, of 828 Saranac St., died Sunday night at the residence following a brief illness. Mr. Canaday was a native of Moniac, Ga. and moved to Jacksonville from Glen Saint Mar several, months ago. He was a member of the Oak Grove Primitive Baptist Church, seven miles north of Macclenny in Baker county. For a number of Years he was employed by the Glen Saint Mary Nurseries Co. at Glen Saint Mary.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Vallie Thrift Canaday of Jacksonville; two daughters, Mrs. Geraldine Green of Callahan and Mrs. Alma Storms of Jacksonville; four sons, Theadore (Teddy) Canaday and Yulee Canaday, both of Jacksonville, J.H. Canaday of Saint George, GA. and George Canaday, U.S. Navy, Seattle, Wash., two sisters; Mrs. Janice Fish of Glen Saint Mary and Mrs. Verdie Crawford of Dinsmore and two brothers, Spence Canaday of St. George and Roland Canaday of Moniac.

The body will rest at the residence from 5 o'clock Tuesday afternoon until Wednesday morning at 10:30 when it will be moved to the church to rest until the funeral hour. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Oak Grove Primitive Baptist Church with the Rev. Tom Crawford, officiating, assisted by the Rev. O.M. Ysrborouh.

Pallbearers will be Wesley Dixon, Junior Bell, Douglas Raulerson, Rudolph Raulerson, Hubert Hodges and Julian Conner. Pallbearers are requested to meet at the church at 1:30 p.m. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of John M. Brinkley, Mortician, Macclenny Florida. Please have flowers at residence by 10:15 a.m. Wednesday.
