She married Laurent Opte Griffin on 11 Feb 1918 at St. Mary's Nativity Church in Raceland, LA.

Griffin - Lydia Rodrigue Griffin, A Homemaker, Died Sunday At Wynhoven Health Care Center in Marrero. She Was 90. Mrs. Griffin Was Born In Larose, La., And Lived In Westwego For 65 Years.

She Was a Member Of The Ladies Auxiliaries Of American Legion Post 206, American Veterans Post 38 And Veterans Of Foreign Wars Post 6793. She Was A Gold Star Mother, Having Lost Two Sons In World War II.

Survivors Include Two Sons, Max And Wayne Griffin; Three Daughters, Mable Babin, Glorious Perkins And Maxine Miller; A Sister, Eve Campbell; 11 Grandchildren; 20 Great-Grandchildren; And One Great-Great-Grandchild.

Her Funeral Was Held Tuesday. Burial Was In Our Lady Of Prompt Succor Cemetery.
