Eli married Mamie Nevada Boal 30 November 1916 in Coshocton County, Ohio. Mamie was born 21 May 1892 in Coshocton County, Ohio, the oldest of six children of Marion Francis Boal (1868-1936) and Anna Mary Jones (1868-1923). Eli and Mamie had no children.
Eli and Mamie moved to Canton, Ohio about 1920 and remained in Canton the rest of their married life. Eli worked for the Hoover Company for 30 years before his death. Eli and Mamie had no children.
Eli died 15 December 1952 in Canton, Ohio. Mamie died 30 November 1975 in Canton, Ohio.
