James M. Scott The funeral for James M. Scott, 65, of Elkmont, will be 1 p.m. today at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home with Joel Logan officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery. Mr. Scott died Sunday, Sept. 21, 2003, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born April 23, 1938, in Limestone County to James Maples Scott Sr. and Annie Mae McNeese Scott. He was a farmer and a lifelong resident of Elkmont. He is survived by his wife, Ruby M. Scott; four daughters, Vickie Scott and Sherry Thomas, both of Elkmont, Penny Scott of Athens and Angie Cagle of Ardmore; three brothers, Jerry Scott of Prospect, Tenn., Larry Scott of Elkton, Tenn., and Frank Scott of Elkmont; one sister, Ruth Wales of Franklin, Tenn.; and six grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Moran, Lynn Moran, Greg Cagle, Steven Thomas, Scottie Thomas, Lance Thomas and Jordan Crowson.
