Charles Dudley Brandt, 60, 520 Grove St., Rockton, Ill., a former Janesville resident, died Tuesday morning in Rockford Memorial Hospital after a 10-day illness. He had been employed as an electrician at Barber- Colman Co., Rockford, since moving to Rockton from Janesville in 1945. The son of Charles E. and Julia Connors Brandt, he was born Aug. 4, 1904, in Janesville. He was married to Helen Freese Nov. 24, 1927. He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, South Beloit. Survivors are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Patricia Mendoza, Rockford; and two nephews. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Janesville.
