Walter E. Immel 58 of 224 Brodway was dead on arrival late Sunday afternoon in Union Hospital at Dover after suffering an apparent heart attack at his home.
Born here, he was a son of the late Alvin and Melinda SommersImmeland was a construction worker for Kidron Electric Co. He was a member of the First United Church of Christ here, the Swiss WheelersAssn. and the National Campers and Hikers Assn.
He is survived by his wife , the former ThelmaRausch; two daughters , Mrs. Leslie (Patricia) Kaser and Mrs. Robert (Sandra) Ladrach of RD 2, both here; two sisters Verna Immei and Mrs. Lynn (Iona) Kuhn of here; and four grandchildren. Two sisters and a brother are deceased.
Services will be held Wednesday at 11 in Lingler Funeral Home herewith Rev. Arnold Klaiber officiating. Burial will be in East LawnCemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
