Joyce was soon to be a junior at Schenck High School in the fall. She was an honor student; a member of the school band, the Thespian Group, the Stage Band, the Tennis team, the Drama club and was a cheerleader. She was secretary of her class, a member of the student council, president of the chorus, and a member of the Dance Movement. She was survived by her parents and one sister.
