Mr. Randolph Carson Rhoden, age 56, of Baxter, Florida died Thursday, Nov. 2, in the North Florida Regional Hospital, Gainesville, FL. following a extended illness. He was born and lived all of his life in the Baxter community of Baxter County. He was a former truck driver and was a former owner of Baxter Grocery Store for over twenty years and also owned Rhoden Stump Grinding. He enjoyed fishing, and growing and farming his vegetables. He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Rhoden. Survivors include his mother, Jeanette Moody of Lake City, FL: Two sisters, Kathy Box and Darlean Fillyaw both of Lake City, FL.: Two brothers, Wayne Rhoden of Moniac, GA. and Mark Rhoden of Lake City, FL.: Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM Monday, Nov. 6, in the Kyler Baptist Church, County Road 127 North of Glen St. Mary, FL. with Rev. H.A. Dorminey, Pastor of the Old Kings Baptist church, officiating and assisted by Rev. Gene Burnsed. Interment will be in North Prong Cemetery, Baker County, FL. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 PM Sunday, Nov. 5, at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, U.S. 90 East, Macclenny, Florida
