He moved his family to Phoenix, AZ in 1946. He was employed by Barrows Furniture Store before starting his own business, Tony's Appliance Sales and Service in 1952. He ran his successful business and made many wonderful friends before retiring nearly 30 years later.
Tony is survived by his wife, Rose, son Dick (Nancy) Llanes of Phoenix, daughters, Nancy (Jim) McCormick of Tucson, Gloria (Dick) Forthun and Violet (George) Hunt of Scottsdale, 13 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Tony was a hard worker, wonderful husband and father. He was always ready to lend a helping hand to family and friends. He was a devoted Dodger fan and loved to go hunting with his son and best friend, Dick. Tony will be greatly missed and be remembered with much love by friends and family members for generations to come. He was a very special man, who received great joy from the simple things in life.
