Mark Raymond Agee, 52, of Independence, Mo., passed away, Sunday, December 15, 2013 at his residence.

Cremation is planned with a memorial services to be held at a later date. Donations may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society .

Mark was born May 12, 1961, in New Kensington, Pa., to Arthur Raymond and Norma Pauline (Slaugenhaupt) Agee. He grew up in Independence and graduated from William Chrisman in 1979. He had worked for a number of years for NAPA Auto Parts as an assistant manager. He enjoyed cars, building model airplanes and model cars and woodworking. He was a member of the River Boulevard Baptist Church.

He is survived by; his mother, Norma P. Agee of Edwards, Mo.; a sister, Arlene Keith and her husband Lee of Edwards, Mo.; a step daughter, Melanie Olson of Tipton, Mo., and a step son, Brian Sanning of Grain Valley, Mo.. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen.
