After an adventurous, fully-lived life, Gayle Ann Newman, passed away at age 56, as a result of cancer, at her home on June 15, 2010. She is greatly missed by her husband, Ken, after 23 years of friendship and love, her children Zachary and Meghan, her brothers Ray and Al, her cousin Chris, her niece Jessica, her mother-in-law Joanne, other family members, and her many friends and members of the Unitarian Universalist Community Church. Born in Seattle, she lived much of her life in the Pacific NW, traveled through Europe in her 20s, lived in Idaho for 9 years and in Scotland for 4 years, before moving to Galt in 2006. Her wit, intelligence, creativity, big heart, and devotion to her children are qualities we'll never forget. Her unique way-of-being was a gift to those who knew her well.
