Graveside services for Lurton E. Smith, 68, retired carpenter of Knoxville, Tenn, will be conducted Tuesday at 12 noon at Greenwood Cemetery by the Rev. John D. Laida. The body is at McReynolds Funeral Home until the hour of service.
Mr. Smith died suddenly Saturday at his home.
He was a native of Montgomery County, son of the late McFerrin and Blanche Smith. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Minnie Allen Smith; a son, Bill Smith, Connecticut; a daughter, Mrs. Jennie Seivers, Attica, Ind; a half-brother, Frank Allen, Chapmansboro, Tenn.
