Grace Crickenberger Norris, 93, of Culpeper, VA, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2014.
She was born June 13, 1920 in Earlysville, VA to the late George Durrer and Eva Grace Durett Crickenberger.
Grace was also preceded in death by her husband, Lynwood Earl Norris and by her daughter, Frances Norris Hensley; by two brothers, Richard and Kendall Crickenberger, and by her two sisters, Ruth Thompson and May Corey; and a great grandchild, Trisha Nicole Coyner.
Surviving family includes her children, Arleen Norris Reinhardt of Chesterfield, VA and Earl Clinton Norris of Blacksburg, VA; three grandchildren, Brian Lynn Coyner, Chesney Ninette Reinhardt Luechauer and David Cameron Reinhardt; one great-grandchild, Dylan Scott Coyner; sisters, Kathleen Chretien of Barboursville, VA and Nyra Mullican of Hughesville, MD; and a brother, David "Jack" Crickenberger of Charlottesville, VA.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at McDow Funeral Home in Waynesboro with the Rev. Dr. John McDonald officiating. Burial will follow at Augusta Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, in Grace's memory, to 2nd Presbyterian Church, Waynesboro, VA or the American Heart Association.
